Elsie "Lynn" Powell Burton

SCOTTSBURG Mrs. Elsie "Lynn" Powell Burton passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the age of 37. Born in South Boston on November 21, 1983, she was the daughter of Henry Howard Powell and Alice Bunn Powell. She was married to the late Robert "Bobby" Burton. Lynn was employed by Southside Behavioral Health. She was a caring and generous person who had a contagious laugh. She was a member of Triangle Volunteer Fire Department and served as secretary for many years. She and Bobby were a match made in Heaven; a kind and loving couple who put others before themselves. In addition to her parents Lynn is survived by a brothers, Jason H. Powell (Blair) and Chris Powell; nieces, Avery Michelle Powell and Olivia Grace Powell; nephew, Aaron Lee Powell; aunts and uncles and numerous loving friends and family. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Seth "Bubba" Daniel. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Powell Family Cemetery, 5004 Cove Road, Clover, VA 24534. Everyone is asked to please wear a mask.
