Eunice Hopkins Clark

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mrs. Eunice Hopkins Clark of South Boston, VA died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the age of 84. She was born in Amelia Court House, VA on November 19, 1930 to the late Walter J. Hopkins and the late Jerrie Hudson Hopkins and was married to the late Morell Brown Clark. Mrs. Clarkwas a former employee of Daystrom Furniture and was a member of Black Walnut Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Ryland Morell Clark and wife, Jane of South Boston and Dennis B. Clark and wife, Cheryl of South Boston; two grandchildren, Christy Crowder and husband, C.W. of South Boston and Cari Spencer and husband, Whitney of Scottsburg, VA; and three great grandchildren, Kendall Crowder, Brett Crowder, and Lexi Spencer. She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, Christopher Ryan Clark, and ten brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Wooten and Rev. Michael Texiera officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 17 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home of Ryland and Jane Clark, 4020 Old Cluster Springs Rd., South Boston.
