Evelyn Palmer Bowen

Virgilina, VA – Evelyn Palmer Bowen, wife of the late Truett Lacy Bowen, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the age of 95. She is survived by her 3 children, Dianne B. Lowery, Brenda B. Ellixson (Ray) and Dwight Bowen (Marilyn); sister, Lucille Dickey; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Dural Lacy Bowen. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Virgilina Cemetery.
