LYNCHBURG, VA Mrs. Evelyn Johnson Stuedly of Lynchburg, VA passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 91. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 30, 1927 and moved to Lynchburg, VA in 2003. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Carl Johnson and the late Helen Kirschbaum Johnson and was married to the late Herman Stuedly. She was a beloved sister, mother and grandmother. She is sorely missed, but her family rejoices in her seeing her Savior. Evelyn is survived by her sister, Barbara Andrade of Queens, NY; daughters, Barbara Giordano and husband, Michael of South Boston and Sandra Lewandowski and husband, John of South Boston; son, Bruce Stuedly of Lynchburg, VA; grandson, Michael Giordano and wife, Catherine of Brooklyn, NY; great granddaughter, Amelia Giordano of Brooklyn, NY; niece, Robin Andrade of Kingston, NY; nephew, Mark Andrade and wife, Regan of Fairhope, Alabama and numerous great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by sons, John Stuedly, Richard Stuedly and Kenneth Stuedly and a brother, Ronald Johnson. Funeral Services for Mrs. Stuedly will be held at Second Baptist Church, 1401 Watkins Ave., South Boston on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Second Baptist Church. Interment will be at Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY on Tuesday, January, 22, 2019.
