Evelyn Wade Ebby Hamilton

Ebby Hamilton, 91, widow of Hank Hamilton, died on May 8, 2013 and was born on May 5, 1922 in Portsmouth, VA to Samuel Isaac and Alice Bowles Wade. Ebby was a Public Affairs officer at the Norfolk Naval Air Base and also at Oceana Air Base. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Bagent and husband Marvin of Norfolk, Joy Dunson and husband Russell of Woodstock, GA, Candy Grefenstette and husband Bill of Sterling, and daughter-in-law Joyce Price of Camden, NC. Ebby was predeceased by her son John Hamilton. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Hank and Ebby lived in a log cabin he built 36 years ago, but they have both now moved on to their eternal home, with their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Ebby attended Waters Edge Community Church and was a member at Clarksville Baptist Church. A graveside service, officiated by son-in-law, Reverend Marvin Bagent will be held at Oakhurst Cemetery in Clarksville, Va on May 11, 2013 at two o'clock pm.
