Fannie "Burnell" Newcomb Mcfalls

Oxford, NC Fannie “Burnell” Newcomb McFalls, wife of the late William Wren McFalls, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the age of 86. She was born on August 26, 1933, in Charlotte County, VA to the late Andrew Jackson “ Jack” and Flossie Grady Newcomb. Burnell was a graduate of Creedmoor High School and a member at First Baptist of Creedmoor. She worked with her family in the logging business. She enjoyed birds and sewing. Cherishing her memories are her children, Patricia Crute and her husband, Danny, and Steven McFalls and his wife, Donna, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Burnell was preceded in death by son, Garry Allen McFalls; daughter, Terry Hope McFalls; brothers, Andrew Newcomb, Frank Newcomb, Clyde Newcomb and Buddy Lee Newcomb and a sister, Dorothy King. A graveside service will be held at Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford on Tuesday, August 11 at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Eddie Mauldin will officiate the service.
