Mrs. Florine Fallen Bomar of 3135 Green Valley Rd., Clover died Friday, April 30, 2010 at the age of 86. She was born in Halifax Co. on November 20, 1923 to the late Joseph Floyd Fallen and the late Mary Alice Covington Fallen and was married to the late Harvey Nichols Bomar. Mrs. Bomar was a retired teller at bank of America and was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Bomar and wife, Betty of Martinsville and Tommy Bomar and wife, Dee of Halifax; a sister, Geraldine Overstreet and husband, Oscar of Clover; two brothers, Jackie Fallen and wife, Margaret of Halifax and Ralph Fallen and wife, Inez of Nathalie; nine grandchildren, Shane Bomar and wife, Charlotte, Brandon Bomar, Sheri Carmony, Michelle Taylor, Kathy Brown, Kenny Bomar, Jeff Bomar and wife, Fawn, Josh Bomar, and Lindsey Bomar; and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Franklin Fallen, William "Bug" Fallen, and Floyd "Goo" Fallen. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Providence Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:30 to 2:00 PM and immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
