Floyd Allen Bagbey

Floyd Allen Bagbey, 83, widower of Isla Nelson Bagbey, passed away at his home on December 1, 2011. Floyd was born May 5, 1928 to the late Joseph Robert and Rosa Redd Bagbey. He worked at Rochester Button Company for 22 years and English Construction for a number of years, in addition to farming. After his retirement he continued to work in assisting individuals with construction needs. A "Celebration Homecoming" will be held on the date of his wedding anniversary, December 4, 2011 at Amis Chapel Baptist Church at 2PM. The Reverends Terry Howard and Ron Craddock will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Floyd is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Michael Harris of Raleigh, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Sherryl Bagbey; and sister, Gertrude Coghill, all of Buffalo Junction. His grandchildren, Bryan Harris, Heather H. Totty, Shannon Bagbey, and Robbie Bagbey; and great grandchildren, Haley and Austin Harris and Craig and Harrison Totty also survive. He was preceded in death by his four brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Nelson Baptist Church.
