Floyd James "Jamie" Elliott

Mr. Floyd James “Jamie” Elliott, III of 1175 Ponderosa Road, South Boston, VA died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the age of 44.Born on October 13, 1970, he was the son of Floyd James Elliott, Jr. and Ramona Clay Elliott.Mr. Elliott was a self-employed plumber, and a member of Grace Baptist Church.As a multi-talented person, he took pride in his many accomplishments including his hobbies of fishing, space science, and playing the drums, but his grandchildren were his pride and joy. In addition to his parents, Floyd & Ramona Elliott of South Boston, VA, he is survived by two daughters, Ashley Elliott of Hampton, VA and Lauren Hare of Lynchburg, VA; four grandchildren, Alley Hare, Caroline Hare, Meredith Hare and Keith Moore; and by one brother, Jeremy Scott Elliott of Burlington, NC.He was also loved by many aunts and uncles. A memorial service for Mr. Elliott will be conducted Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 2 PM in Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Don Bryant officiating.The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2 o’clock.
