Frances Wiles Burnett

Lillie Frances Wiles Burnett, 75, widow of Howard Raymond Burnett, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Halifax Regional Hospital. The daughter of Willie Joseph and Claudie Mae Inglebright Wiles deceased, Frances worked for Craddock Terry Shoe Factory and retired from Disston Company after 21 years. She was a member of Clarksville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Greg Randall officiating. Interment will follow in the Newton Family Cemetery. Frances is survived by three sisters, Peggy Riddle and Brenda Whitt, both of Clarksville, and Mary Lee Elliott of Chase City; and brother, Willie Joseph Wiles, Jr. of Virgilina. The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 11 AM, one hour prior to the service.
