Frances Coghill Glasscock

CLARKSVILLE, VA. - Mrs. Frances Coghill Glasscock, 86, the widow of Bruce Hoover Glasscock, died the evening of August 13, 2015 at Sentara Meadowview Terrace.Frances was born to the late Bailey Coghill and Pearle Matthews Coghill on March 24, 1929 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia.Mrs. Glasscock was a charter member of Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle in Buffalo Junction.The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15th at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville, Virginia from 7 PM until 8:30 PM.Mrs. Frances Coghill Glasscock is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Patricia Eubank of Clarksville, Mrs. Theresa Hite and husband, Louis of Buffalo Junction, Mrs. Elaine Tuck and husband, Lindy of Virgilina, and her son Mr. Tommy Glasscock and wife Dolly of Virgilina. Also surviving is her brother Billy Coghill of Buffalo Junction, her sister, Barbara Beck of Danville, as well as 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.The funeral service for Mrs. Glasscock will be held at Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle on Sunday at 2:00 PM; burial will follow at Gravel Hill Baptist Church.
