Frances Stone Kindley

Boydton, VA - Mrs. Frances Stone Kindley, widow of Larry Eugene Kindley, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the age of 82. She was born in Baskerville, Virginia, on June 10, 1935, to the late Irene Thompson and Mortie Frank Stone. Mrs. Kindley was a 1952 graduate of Boydton High School. She worked in office administration at the Mecklenburg County School Board office for 32 years and was a member of Boydton Baptist Church. Mrs. Kindley is survived by daughter, Karen Johnson and her husband, Rick of Raleigh, NC; son, Larry E. Kindley, Jr. and his wife, Velva of Buffalo Junction; grandchildren, Dr. Paige Lacks (David), Dr. Kyle Kindley (Jade) and Molly Johnson as well as great grandson, Cabell Kindley. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home from 6 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 12, in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Carl Bagley officiating.
