Frances Webster

Buffalo Junction, VA –

Frances Webster, wife of the late Horace H. Webster, Sr., passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the age of 61. Born on September 23, 1961, in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Hoover and Violet Shepherd Keeton. Frances was a wonderful housekeeper and cook. She enjoyed people and was noted to have never met a stranger. As with many grandparents, her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and she never missed an opportunity to spoil them. Frances was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by her sons, Horace H. Webster, Jr. (Mary Beth) and Charles T. Webster (Jessica); grandchildren, Jakolby, Elijah, Briella, Brendan, Uriah, and Abigail Grace; step-daughters, Cheryl and Cindy; and sister, Joyce Keeton. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Roger Keeton and Wanda Talley as well as a step-daughter, Laura.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 2, in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
