Francis Lawrence Csorba

Francis "Frank" Lawrence Csorba, age 23, of Boydton, VA, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. He was born in Goshen, New York on December 12th, 2000, to Jessica Pitts Csorba and Alexander Paul Csorba III.

Frank was a beloved student athlete at the University of Lynchburg, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and was pursuing a master’s degree in Public Health. He was a dedicated member of the Track & Field and Cross-Country programs, and his passion for sports was evident to all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024 in the chapel of Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with burial to follow in the family cemetery. The Reverend Ronnie Campbell will be officiating the service, and attendees are encouraged to wear the Hornet colors of black and red. Visitation will be held before the service starting at noon.

Frank is survived by his parents, Alexander and Jessica Csorba; siblings, Alexander Paul Csorba IV, Daniel Richard Csorba, and Julieanna Elizabeth Csorba; as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and teammates.
