Mr. Frank Alfred “AL” Wilmoth of 1085 Black Walnut Rd., Randolph, VA died Friday, May 28, 2010 at MCV-Richmond at the age of 75. He was born in Halifax County on February 16, 1935, the son of the late Frank Edward Wilmoth and the late Euphemia Austin Wilmoth and was married to Lucille G. Wilmoth. Mr. Wilmoth was a retired maintenance technician for Clover Yarns, Inc and after retirement a part-time worker at the Staunton River Battlefield State Park. He was also a farmer. Mr. Wilmoth is survived by his wife; Lucille G. Wilmoth of the home, daughter; Lelia W. Ryder and her husband, Kent of Cumberland, VA, 3 grandchildren, Lauren Currier, Elizabeth Hughes and David Raif Ryder; nephew Donald Wayne Wilmoth, Jr and his wife, Joann of Scottsburg; brothers Tommy Wilmoth & his wife, Jeanette of Rice, VA Roy Wilmoth of Halifax; a sister, Dorothy Turner of Halifax. Mr. Wilmoth was also preceded in death by his brothers; Bernard Wilmoth and Donald Wayne Wilmoth, Sr. and his grandparents Tom and Leia Wilmoth. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 31, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Clover cemetery with Rev. Kyle Corbin officiating.
