SCOTTSBURG Frankie Mae Bennett of Scottsburg passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the age of 75. Born in Henry County on September 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Frank Marshall Bennett and the late Lillie Horsely.She was the life partner of Robert Edward Fisher, who survives. Frankie loved music, whether singing or dancing. She also adored candles. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her beloved Robert, she is survived by a son, James Marshall Moorefield (Sherri); grandchildren, Whitney Gamez, Destiny Reaves, and only grandson, Travis Moorefield, Kelsey Moorefield, Ariel Moorefield and Samantha Moorefield; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Grimes, Dawn Mims, Marsha Bennett, and Patricia Watson; 3 nieces; 2 nephews and many special cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents;son, Dallas Wayne Moorefield; brothers, James Marshall Bennett and Lawrence Leone; sister, Sharon Grimes; nephew, John Marshall Grimes; and nieces, Katlyn Lay Grimes and Sherri Leone. A Celebration of Life for Frankie will be held on June 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM at her home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.brookslyon.com.
