Fred Moss

Fred Moss of Oxford, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at the age of 87. He was born on October 26, 1933, in Franklin County, NC, to the late Tressie Brown Moss and the late Samuel Almos Moss. Fred was a United States Army veteran. His worked in the textile industry as a machine repairman. Fred was passionate about fishing and was known for his lively sense of humor. Survivors are his daughter, Jamie Brummitt (Jim) of Oxford; son, Bobby Moss (Debbie) of Oxford; stepson, Eric Overton of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Chris Moss, Jeremy Moss, Brandon Moss and Jordan Holloway; great grandchildren, Micah Holloway, Easton Moss and Charlie Holloway, as well as sisters, Elaine Hicks and Mary Strickland, both of Oxford. He was preceded in death by siblings, Samuel Moss, Jr., Lonnie Eugene Moss and Edna Charlene Moss. Services will be held at a later date.
