Garry Wayne Hite

Boydton, VA - Garry Wayne Hite, husband of Deborah Jones Hite, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the age of 56. He was born in Halifax County on August 16, 1962 to the late Ernest Bassal and Mary Alice Fitts Hite. Garry was a retired employee of the Town of Clarksville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step son, Jassen Jones (Teresa) of Galax, VA; step daughter, Tonya Gambrell (Bill) of Columbia, SC and 7 step grandchildren. Funeral services for Garry will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Ave., Clarksville, VA with burial to follow at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Mr. Ricky Thomason. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
