Geneva May Wilmouth

Alton, VA Mrs. Geneva May Wilmouth of Alton died Friday, September 21, 2018 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital at the age of 90. Mrs. Wilmouth was born May 20, 1928 in Halifax County to the late Mr. Lewis Edward Martin and the late Mrs. Annie Dunbar Martin. She was married to the late Mr. John A. Wilmouth. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Mrs. Wilmouth is survived by one daughter, Kitty Wilmouth; three sons, Raymond Wilmouth (Jerrie), Jeff Wilmouth (special friend Ann), and Mike Wilmouth (Tammy); two grandsons, Chris Wilmouth and Jim Walker; one granddaughter, Rebecca Walker; a special niece, Frances Lloyd; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva May Wilmouth will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 2:00PM with Andre Jordan presiding. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, September 24, 2018, from 7:00 to 8:30PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Raymond and Jerrie Wilmouth, 4105 Turbeville Rd., Alton, VA.
