George William ''Matt'' Dillon

George William ''Matt'' Dillon, 64, husband of Sandra Bliley Dillon, died Monday, July 19, 2004 at his residence. The son of John Henry and Hattie Mae Kizer Dillon, Matt was born in Chesterfield County. Retiring after 40 years with E.I. duPont, his last assignment was a Planning Specialist. Upon retirement, he moved to Kerr lake and worked part-time at Elliott's True-Value Hardware. Matt was a member of Kinderton Country Club; served on the board of Merifield Homeowners Association; and was an avid fisherman and golfer. Reverend Wade Tucker will conduct a memorial service Saturday, 2PM in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. In addition to his wife, Matt is survived by daughters, Staci Lynn Rivette and Kristie Dillon of Chesterfield; stepdaughter, Kathy Gusti of Powatan; sons, Heath Bryan Dillon of Asheville, NC and Matthew Alan Dillon of Chesterfield; stepson, Craig Hudson of Baskerville and 7 grandchildren.
