George I. Garrison, Jr.

George I. Garrison, Jr., 91, of Clarksville, widower of Gertrude Baechler Garrison, died Friday, August 25, 2006 in Hillsborough, NC. Native to Lima, Ohio, Mr. Garrison was the son of George I., Sr. and Rose Theresa Lehner Garrison. A former member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Lima, he was also a 32nd degree Master Mason of Garrett Wykoff Masonic Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles, served in the National Guard, and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Garrison?s working career included his time as a locomotive buyer; many years working in the field of data processing, and was a tax examiner for the Lima City Tax Department. A memorial service will be 2PM Sunday at St. Timothy?s Epsicopal Church with Deacon In Charge Susan Grimm officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lima, OH at a later date. Mr. Garrison is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy & Larry Leiter, and son and daughter-in-law, Larry & Chris Garrison, all of Clarksville. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
