George Francis Pearson, Jr.

George F. Pearson, Jr., 90, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at home with his family at his bedside. He was born June 4, 1922 in Hamilton, NJ to the late George Francis, Jr. and Rose Love Pearson. He had served his country with the U.S. Navy through World War II and the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts. He retired from Carter Wallace in Cranbury, NJ in 1993, before moving to Boydton. Memorial services will be 2PM Wednesday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Jason Hay officiating. Preceded in death by his son, Jason Charles Pearson, Mr. Pearson is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia Pearson; his son, George F. Pearson, III; and his daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and David Fuller, all of Boydton. His grandchildren, Dakota, Megan, Christopher, Katrina and Kayla; and his niece from Florida, Judy Lynch Hicks, also survive.
