George Michael Rogers

George Michael Rogers, 66, died at his home on Sunday, May 24, 2015.He was born to Stanley Robert Rogers and Elizabeth Hatch Rogers on December 24, 1948 in Auburn, NY.Mr. Rogers was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired Mecklenburg County Public School System school bus driver.George is survived by his wife, Ann R. Rogers, his son, Kevin Michael Rogers and his wife Nadia of Richmond, his son Jeffrey Thomas Rogers of South Norwalk, CT and his two grandchildren, Levi Michael and Kaleb Aidan Rogers.He is also survived by his sister, Catherine Rogers Wojnowicz of Auburn, NY, his sister Deborah Rogers of Penn Yan, NY and his brother, Stanley Robert Rogers, Jr. and his wife Linda.The family will receive friends at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2015 for 7:00 to 9:00 pm.The memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 30 at 4:00 pm in the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home chapel.
