Gilbert Ausburn Wayson

Gilbert Ausburn Wayson, age 82, of Skipwith, VA, passed away on November 25, 2021. Gilbert was born in Steubenville, OH on August 12, 1938 to the late William Wayson and the late Kathleen Mary Manuel and was married to the late Barbara Wayson. Gilbert was a proud member of the United States Navy and served for over 20 years before working with the United States Postal Service. He also enjoyed the outdoors, where he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Left to cherish his memories are his sister, Kathleen Whitehead and his two nephews, Ronald and Mark Whitehead. A private burial will be held at a later date.
