Glenwood Ray "Moady" Callahan

Mr. Glenwood Ray "Moady" Callahan of 1112 Elmer Barker Trail, Scottsburg, VA died Monday, September 26, 2011 at the age of 62. He was born in Campbell Co., VA on June 13, 1949 to Evelyn Gibson Callahan and the late Carl P. Callahan and was married to Patricia Callahan. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a former mechanical piping foreman at Climate Control, Inc.. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Callahan of Scottsburg, VA; a daughter, Angie Callahan of Scottsburg, VA; a son, George Gordon and wife, Rhonda of Semora, NC; his mother, Evelyn Gibson Callahan of Grit, VA; a brother, Ronnie Callahan and wife, Gwenn of Motley, VA; a sister, Robin Callahan of Virginia Beach, VA; and four grandchildren, Kody Shelton, Madison Shelton, Cal Gordon, and Christopher Strader. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home.
