Harold Gene Green

SOUTH BOSTON Harold Gene Green of South Boston passed away at his home on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the age of 72.Born in Halifax County on January 27, 1950, he was the son of the late Floyd Anthony Green, Jr and the late Pauline Thaxton Green. Harold had a passion for fast cars.He loved his church family and was dedicated to his Pentecostal faith. Harold was a loving brother and uncle to his nieces and nephews. When his twin brother was living you never saw one without the other. Harold is survived by siblings, Rhonda Elliott, Michael Green (Lora Bowes); nieces and nephews, Nick Elliott, Zack Elliott, Michael Green Jr, Jennie Rice, Tony Green, Jake Green and Jason Lloyd; and 9 great nieces & nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Green, Carroll Green, who was his dearly beloved twin, Kenneth Green and a sister, Deborah Lloyd. A Memorial Servicewill be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Trinity Congregational Holiness Church.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1-2 PM, at the church.
