Harvey Wiley Lacks

CLOVER Mr. Harvey Wiley Lacks of Clover, went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the age of 82.He was born in Charlotte County on March 14, 1938 to the late Charlie and Jessie Newcomb Lacks and was married to Annie Rickmond Lacks. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and very faithful to this church. In addition to his wife, Annie, he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Newcomb and husband, John; stepsons, Devin Lacks and Wesley Lacks; grandchildren, Alexis Green, Skye Newcomb, Ashley Lacks, Casey Lacks, Tabitha Lacks, Chris Lacks and Cricket Lacks; 9 great grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Dunaway and Nancy Newcomb. He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
