Hazel Tuck Newton

Hazel Tuck Newton of Ringgold, VA, left us on January 17, 2022, for her place in Heaven. She was born in Virgilina, VA on April 11, 1929, to the late Norman and Sarah Glascock Tuck. Hazel was a 1946 graduate of Virgilina High School and retired from Signet Bank after a 31-year banking career.Hazel married her one and only true love, the late Elson Heamon Newton, of Nelson, VA on February 7, 1947. Together they became the best parents of two children, Elizabeth Frances Newton and Elson Heamon Newton, Jr., who survive. In addition, they are survived by five grandchildren and one great grandson. Hazel was devoted to God, her church and her family. A graveside service will be held at Nelson Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, January 23 at 2 PM.
