Miss Hazel Frances Rogers, 86, passed away quietly on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Berry Hill Nursing and Rehab Center in South Boston.Miss Rogers was born March 17, 1928 in Boydton, Va. to the late William Arthur and Annie May Yancey Rogers.She was a graduate of Boydton High School.She was retired from the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Workmens Compensation Commission.Miss Rogers is survived by her nephew, Roger A. Anderson of Boydton, and was preceded in death by her sister, Eulis R. Anderson and brother, Sterling A. Rogers.Graveside services will be 11 AM Saturday at Fields United Methodist Cemetery with the Reverend Gene Burris officiating.You may pay your respects from 9am until 6pm on Friday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
