Hazel Griffin Sizemore

Hazel Griffin Sizemore, 84 of Nelson, VA passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Hazel was born October 16, 1929 in Mecklenburg County to Rosa Lee and Emma Davis Griffin. Hazel graduated from Clarksville High School and she was married to Thornton Allen Sizemore on November 26, 1956 at Hebron Christian Church. She worked for Burlington Industries for over 50 years. Mrs. Sizemore is survived by her sister Audrey Wallace of Lynchburg and her brother and sister-in-law Hieter and Betty Griffin of Virgilina. Hazel was predeceased by her husband. Graveside services will be held at the Eternity Mausoleum at Oakhurst Cemetery on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with entombment immediately following.
