Clarksville, VA - Helen Marie Poulos Campbell, wife of the late Doyle Campbell, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019, at the age of 91. She was born in Lisbon, OH on June 27, 1927 to the late Samuel Nicholas and Stella Gymkofski Poulos. Helen obtained her B.S. degree in the Nursing field and spent more than 50 years in that career. She loved to travel and had visited all 50 states. She was a member of the VFW Auxilliary. She is survived by daughters, Diane Wright (Gary) of Midlothian and Karen Visnauskas (Linda) of Long Island, NY; son Michael Visnauskas (Sharon) of Nags Head, NC; step-children Melody Turner (Mike) of Gibsonville, NC and Michael Campbell (Gail) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and daughter-in-law Carla Cassidy of Tempe, AZ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nikki, Scott, Christy, Derek, Neal, Michael Jr., Clifford, Melissa, Joshua, Becky and Amy; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by her son, Mark Visnauskas and step-daughter, Dawn Wilson. A Catholic Funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in the chapel of Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakhurst Cemetery.The Rev. Fr. Rogelio Largoza will officiate.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
