Helen Hamlett Watts of Clover passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the age of 85. She was born in Charlotte County on March 25, 1938 to the late Willie Hamlett and the late Carrie Trent Hamlett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Carlson Watts.

Helen was a member of Clover Methodist Church and a homemaker for her family. She loved paint by number pictures, her roses, reading and watching the Hallmark channel especially the Christmas specials.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Watts Spurgeon and husband, Charles; sister, Hazel Hamlett Watts and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Billy, she was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Hamlett Tharpe; brother, Garland Hamlett and grandson, Keenan Alexander Connell.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Clover Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers please consider donations made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
