Henry Hubert Bunn of Clarksville, VA, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at the age of 73.He was born on October 17, 1946 in Clarksville and was the son of the late James H. Bunn, Sr. and the late Mary Belle Guerrant Bunn. Henry was a truck driver with Key Construction and Russell Stover Candies. He loved his faithful furry companion, “Ike”. As a hobby he restored cars, and was loyal to the Ford brand, from tractors to Mustangs to Model A’s. Henry was a member of the Model A Club. He was known as a local historian, who enjoyed storytelling and it was noted that he had never met a stranger. Henry was also a jack of all trades, there being nothing that he couldn’t fix. Cherishing his memory are his son, Brian Bunn (Hope) of Boydton, VA ; daughters, Kimberly “Kim” Smith of Cape Coral, FL and Melissa “Lisa” Elsaesser of Farmville, VA; brother, James H. “Dick” Bunn, Jr. (Pamela) of Clover, VA; sisters, Alice Powell (Howard) of Clover, VA and Mary Elliott (Dallas) of Buffalo Junction, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren, Dustin Elsaesser, Amanda Kaye Elsaesser, Dylan Smith, Joshua Smith, Megan Smith, Kayla Long and Chad Bunn; 1 great grandchild and 2 more on the way; aunts, Patsy Owen and Diane Beam, 5 nieces and 2 nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Katherin Bunn and a granddaughter, Ashley Brook Smith. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Oakhurst Cemetery with the Reverend Billy Coghill officiating.
