Henry Randolph Comer

Henry Randolph Comer of South Boston went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, February 11, 2024.  Born in Halifax County on September 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Raymond Green Comer and Evon Pool Comer.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Burton Comer.

He was retired from Climate Control as an auto mechanic.  He enjoyed listening to bluegrass music. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all.

He is survived by sons, Randy Green Comer (Lisa), Troy Comer (Alice) and Andrew Comer (Emily); daughter, Beverly Jones (Tino); sisters, Primrose Cole, Connie Whitlow, Carolyn Duffer and Jerria Comer; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Deloris Keeton; sister, Jean Lowery, and step mother, Dorothy Comer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Seven Oaks Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Barton officiating.  Burial will follow in North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service,  1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. at Seven Oaks Baptist Church.
