Henry Lee Wilson

Henry Lee Wilson of South Boston passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the age of 74. Born in Halifax County on August 1, 1948, he was the son of the late James Woodrow Wilson, Sr and the late Flossie Elliott Wilson.

During his employment years, Henry was employed at Burlington Industries as the operations manager. He loved boating, fishing, water skiing, gardening and anything outdoors. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute.

He is survived by his children, Mark Wilson (Lynn) and Sheila Wilson Crouch (Joey); grandchildren, Amber Faulkner, Jordan Crouch, Erica Newcomb, Lesley Pinzon, and Amy Wilson; 7 great grandchildren; sibling, Larry Wilson and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Eli Newcomb; brothers, James Woodrow Wilson, Jr and Wayland "Fox" Wilson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
