Herman William Brown

Mr. Herman William Brown, 88, son of the late Joseph Benjamin and Bessie Gertrude Wiley Brown, died Saturday, December 24, 2005 at the MeadowView Nursing Home in Clarksville. Herman farmed all of his life and left Mecklenburg County during WWII to serve in the U.S. Navy. Graveside services will be held Thursday 11 AM in the Oakhurst Cemetery in Clarksville with the Reverend Henry Lovelace officiating. Surviving Herman is a niece, Mildred Brown Tuck Irby of Clarksville and numerous great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. The family is being served by Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville.
