Hodges Hagood Wilmoth

CHASE CITY, VA Mr. Hodges Hagood Wilmoth of Chase City, VA died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the age of 78. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on July 15, 1936 to the late John Tyree Wilmoth and the late Maggie Hardy Wilmoth and was married to Elizabeth Wilmoth. Mr. Wilmoth was a truck driver for McGuire Trucking and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Wilmoth of Chase City, VA; three sisters, Faye Martin of Clover, VA, Velma Phillips of Halifax, VA, and Elaine Pettry of Lynchburg, VA; two brothers, Kenneth Wilmoth and David Wilmoth, both of Clover, VA; and four step children. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Loretta Ann Cassada. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Alan James officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilmoth Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM.
