Hurley Lee Keeton

Hurley Lee Keeton, 85, husband of Janie Elliott Keeton, died Monday, June 14, 2004 at his residence. He was born and reared in Mecklenburg County and farmed all his adult life. Funeral services will be Thursday, 3PM at Aaron's Creek Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. In addition to his wife, Mr. Keeton is also survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Annie Keeton Overby and Lynn of Hitesburg; Lois Keeton Martin and Tony and Linda Keeton Puryear and Donald Wall of Buffalo Junction; son and daughter-in-law, William Anderson Keeton and Debbie of Buffalo Junction; sister, Etta Wall of Virgilina; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; 1 step-granddaughter; 1 step-grandson; and 9 step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Keeton was pre-deceased by 2 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville.
