Boydton, VA - Idaliah Lee Henson Farrow, age 91, of Boydton, VA passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Sentara Meadowview Terrace Nursing Facility in Clarksville, VA. Mrs. Farrow was born in Caddo Mills, TX on August 29, 1924 and she was preceded in death by her husband, Verle Farrow. She worked as executive secretary to the Chairman of the Board, State of Texas Industrial Accident Safety Board in Austin before her marriage to Verle Farrow of Shelbyville, IN.They moved to Northern VA where Mr. Farrow worked as an engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers and Mrs. Farrow worked for the County of Fairfax in the VPI Extension Office.They retired to Boydton, VA where they enjoyed frequent visits to the Dick Cross Wildlife Management Area with their field trial dogs and Tennessee Walking horses. Idaliah Farrow is survived by two children Patricia Farrow of Charlottesville, VA and Michael Farrow of Boydton, VA; two grandchildren, Sarah Tinsley McClellan (Ryan) of Charlottesville and Zachary Thomas Fisher (Chariya); two great grandchildren, Max and Simone McClellan of Charlottesville, VA and two step grandchildren, Gwendelyn and Brandon also of Charlottesville.She is also survived by two brothers, Clovis Ray Henson of Lufkin, TX and Lovell Kent Henson of Estill Springs, TN.A third brother, James Kay Henson of Diboll, TX predeceased her. Burial services will be private, and the family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the SPCA of Clarksville, VA.
