Ilva Fallen Lee

CLOVER, VA Mrs. Ilva Fallen Anderson Lee of Newbill School Road, Clover passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the age of 101. Born in Halifax County on May 18, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Georgie Thomas Fallen and the late Annie Newbill Fallen. She was married to the late John R. “Dick” Anderson and then the late Elmo Lee. Ilva was a homemaker and member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by daughters, Frances A. Taylor of Halifax, Myrtle Wilmoth of Clover, Connie A. Kirks and husband, Leroy of Danville and Dana Owen and husband, Ronnie of Clover; son, Donald “Buddy” Fallen; 16 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great Great Grandchildren. Other than her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Roy T. Anderson; grandson, Stephen “Gene” Taylor and brothers, Kelsie, Robert, Hagood, Lowell and Gus Fallen. Funeral services for Mrs. Lee will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel. Committal will be at the funeral home with burial at Hunting Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 24, one hour prior to the service, 1:00-2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home and other times at her home, 6047 Newbill School Road, Clover, VA.
