CLOVER, VA Iris Culley Redd, of Clover, departed for her heavenly home on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 81. She was born in Halifax County on August 4, 1936 to the late Leonard Culley and the late Mamie Watts Culley. She was a member of her beloved Clover Baptist Church and worked at Burlington Industries. Iris was also an avid reader and loved spending time with her family. Surviving are a granddaughter, Dana Irby Horton (Kenneth); a grandson, Toby Irby; great-grandchildren, Dalton Horton and Kayden Horton; step great-grandchildren, Marisa Horton and Garrison Horton; sisters, Lena Yancey, Ethel Everhart (Ken) and Sharon Church (Clyde); a brother, Larry Culley (Dianne); and numerous nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, she is predeceased by her daughters, Joy Martin and Cathy Irby; grandson, T.J. Martin; six brothers; four sisters; and her stepmother, Annie Russell Culley. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel. Burial will follow in Clover Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service and at other times at the home, 1121 Guill Town Rd, Clover.
