Irma "Polly" Covington Bradley

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mrs. Irma “Polly” Covington Bradley, 93, joined her husband, Daniel Watkins Bradley, in heaven on November 17, 2019. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Maude Cook Covington. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of which she and her husband, Watkins, were founding members. She is survived by her children, Edward Watkins Bradley and wife,Cynthia and Deborah Bradley Reebals and husband, Andy; grandchildren, Daniel Bradley and wife,Tracey, Elizabeth Bradley Goldthwaite and husband, Chad, Stacey Reebals Hooper and husband, Jason; her sister, Darlene Covington Osborne; and her great-grandchildren Austin, Taylor & Evan Goldthwaite, Ella & Avery Bradley and Lily Hooper all of whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Daniel Watkins Bradley, brothers, Thomas Earl and Clarence Covington all of Halifax County, VA. A special thanks to Linda Guill-Smith and co-workers at Commonwealth Senior Living. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 20 at Brooks Lyon Funeral home at 2:00 PM with the family receiving visitors one hour prior to the service, 1:00 – 2:00 PM, and other times the home of Andy and Deborah Reebals, 4634 White House Road, Nelson, VA.Interment will follow service at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family requests those wishing to give memorials to consider Second Baptist Church, 1402 Watkins Avenue, South Boston, VA24592 or a charity of your choice.
