Jacob Lane Hazelwood

CLOVER Jacob Lane Hazelwood of Newbill School Road, Clover, VA was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the age of 23. Born in Pittsylvania County on May, 1, 1996, he was the son of Katherine “Boots” Hazelwood and the late John Earl Hazelwood. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Chelsey H. Malone and husband Michael; nephew, Coy Malone; grandmother, Marie Martin; and many devoted aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jacob loved his family and everyone he came in contact with. He was a loving, giving, and caring soul. He never met a stranger, and always did what he could to help anyone out that needed it. Graveside services will be held at Clover Cemetery on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Sean McGuire and Pastor Ken Warfield officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
