Jacob Adam Mcbride

NATHALIE - Jacob Adam McBride of Nathalie, VA passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 16. He was born in Person Co., NC on January 27, 2001 the son of Adam Blake McBride and Abby Pope McBride. A student at Halifax Co. Senior High he was a proud member of JROTC and the Raider Team. Jacob is survived by his parents, Adam and Abby McBride; brother, Zachariah Blake McBride; paternal grandmother, Jane McBride; maternal grandparents, Sharon and Andy Pope, Jr.; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne McBride and aunt, Nicole “Katherine” Pope. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A private funeral service will be held and he will be laid to rest on the family farm.
