Jaime Ann Jennings

SOUTH BOSTON Jaime Ann Jennings of South Boston, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 42.Born in Halifax County on August 14, 1979, she was the daughter of Wanda Bowen Jennings and the late Jimmy Jennings. Jaime was a graduate of Halifax County High School and furthered her education at Virginia Western Community College where she graduated with a dental hygienist degree. She was employed with Dr. Derek Brown in South Boston.Jaime had a passion for her job and loved being at work with her patients and co-workers. Dr. Derek and Dr. Bridget were family to her and she was so proud to help them build their practice to what it is today.She loved getting together with friends at Nascar races and was a regular friendly face at South Boston Speedway. She was always planning her next trip with her friends and wanted to see many places. Jaime was fun-loving, always looking for new restaurants, breweries and wanting to meet new friends. She loved her dogs and taking them on bird hunts. Leaving behind to cherish all of her memories is her mother, Wanda (Sam Watts); sister, Ginger Jennings; brothers, Jay Jennings (Taylor) of Halifax and Jacob Jennings (Caroline) of Charleston, SC; nephews, Bowen and Lane; niece, Raney; special friend, Brian Wilkerson; and her beloved pets, Blaney, Booty, Rusty and Stumpy. A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Halifax Memorial Gardens.
