James David Nelson

James David Nelson, 50, passed away at his home peacefully with his family after his battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother, Sally Nelson; his father and step-mother, Jim and Elizabeth Nelson; sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Kevin Gray; nieces, Hannah and Peyton Gray and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. David attended Bluestone High School and Martin Community College. He previously owned Dogwood Tree Trophy Shop and currently worked with Shep Moss at Memory Maker in South Hill. A memorial ceremony will be held in Boydton for David. These services are pending at this time.
