James Grey Daniel

Drakes Branch, VA. - James “Grey” Daniel, 65 of Drakes Branch died on November 13, 2015. Grey was born on January 18, 1950 to the late James William and Virginia Slaughter Daniel in Oxford, NC.He loved his dog “Daisy” and enjoyed making the rounds in Drakes Branch every day. He enjoyed staying busy by going and doing things. Grey was an equipment operator for the Lewis Tree Service. In addition to his parents, Grey was preceded in death by his brother Charles Daniel.Mr. Daniel is survived by his fiancée Debra Emerson, Sister Rachel Sharon, nephews and spouses David and Shelby Sharon, and Chuck and Michelle Sharon; and niece and spouse Diane and Earl Gordon. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel with Reverend Woodrow Freeze officiating. Burial will follow in the Cub Creek Cemetery in Charlotte County. The family will receive friends at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 6:00 – 7:30 PM.
