James Patrick Elliott

OXFORD, NC- James Patrick Elliott, 80, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Universal Health Care in Oxford, NC.Mr. Elliott was born in Hitesburg, VA to the late Buddy Otha and Melissa Elliott.He was retired from Davis Wholesale where he worked for many years. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday at Hitesburg Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.Mr. Elliott is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Dennis Simmons of Henderson, NC and son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Shannon Elliott of Asheboro, NC. His granddaughter, Alexandria Jordon Simmons and his sister, Alice Marie Moore of Danville, Va. also survive.The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8:30pm at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
