James “Jim” Bruce Romano of Halifax passed away on Monday December 19 2022 at the age of 70. He died in the VCU hospital surrounded by his loving family and listening to his favorite music.
He was born in Newark, New Jersey on March 27 1952 to the late Anthony and Teresa Sarnowski Romano. He is survived by his lovely wife of 30 years Inge Stahlnecker Romano.
Jim loved motorcycles and worked as a motorcycle mechanic for years before becoming a service manager with Honda. He loved music and played the drums. He was multi- talented and could build or fix just about anything. He won blue ribbons for the model ships he built.
