Jamie Eulalia Johnson

January 8, 1985 — December 13, 2022

Jamie Eulalia Johnson passed away peacefully on December 13, 2022 at the age of 37. Born in Halifax County on January 8th, 1985, she was the daughter of Mary Chaffin Betterton and Joey Beadles.

Jamie was a bright light to all that knew her, she was a constant source of positivity for so many. Her smile, laughter, and her uplifting messages will be greatly missed. Jamie loved enjoying the small things and took great pride in capturing those moments with photos. Her camera roll is filled with photos of friends and family, her pets, sunsets, and the night sky. Above all else Jamie was a devoted mother to her daughter, Alyssa. Jamie cherished her time with her daughter and was supportive of anything Alyssa wanted to pursue.

Left to cherish their many fond memories of Jamie are her daughter, Alyssa Harlow; her siblings, Paul "Buzzy" Mabe and Angela Lawhorn (Paul); her father Joey Beadles; her parents Mark and Trudy Dalton and her girlfriend Lauren Daniel. She is also survived by a host of beloved family members; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Not to be forgotten are her many special friends that she considered family. Jamie was loved by so many, and she loved so many that we would never be able to list all the people she held so dearly in her heart. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Chaffin Betterton; siblings Jerry Rayburn Mabe and Stacy Beadles.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at South Boston Church of God with Reverend Dave Webb officiating.
